Deer Landscape Painting - "Late Summer" 18x24 Countryside Scenes I wanted to capture that"Late Summer" I think what inspired me to paint this, aside from actually getting out and Gathering the reference, was the love I have for the countryside from where I grew up. Even though this scene takes place near my home in southwest Montana, in a sense, it brings me back East. The river bottoms in Montana are lush Wildlife corridors.
