Ad Crucem Holy of Holies Set Material:Wood that they may believe thatThe set of the two Holy of Holies ornaments. The Ark of the Covenant was in the Holy of Holies, behind the thick curtain. Once a year, the High Priest would come to offer a sacrifice to the Lord for the sins of himself and the people. When Christ was crucified, the curtain was torn from the top, to show that the Lord was now accessible to His people. Hebrews describes this beautifully: "In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete.
